The Gatehouse at Grapevine is a private community protecting and mentoring women who have escaped domestic violence.

The corporate logo, a sunflower, was my inspiration. Using butterfiles, a perfect metaphor for rebirth, this friendly, light-hearted design captures these beautifully ornate, delicate creatures being drawn up to a royaly cloaked heavens amidst a swirl of prayers. Subtly hidden thoughout each panel are etched scriptures, each small notes of encouragment.
