PROJECT NAME

Public Art

The new Stamford Hospital requested artwork to be suspended in the pediatric ER and adjacent children's waiting area. They requested a fun, nautical theme to compliment a large salt water aquarium.

Our solution was a school of fish (150+) which playfully swim through the ER. Each fish has unique graphics and no two are alike. Two different color schemes are presented, to help define the spaces (fushia in waiting area, chartreuse in nurses station). These unique creatures are made of printed acrylic, anodized aluminum and holographic film. To accompany this school is a large clownfish image printed on acrylic which frames cabinetry at the nurses station.
